How much does a pickup bed weight
 

Does anyone happen to know how mucha 26/27 t bed weights empty without bed wood or strips, just the side and tailgate?

And also with the wood in it?

I have been looking and cannot find the weight of a pickup bed. I appreciate any help on this

Try asking on the Model A site, I think this has been discussed before. Someone might know off hand how to ship. Ed Saniewski

I recently picked up one and put it on a chassis half a dozen times wile fitting it and at a gess it would be around 60 KGS

Thank you for writing me. I will look up kg to pounds and a guess is better then nothing will have a starting point

Another thing to try is to call Brookville bodies, ask them what the shipping weight is on a bed. I tried looking on their web site but did not find anything about weight.
