New bearing shim packs

Hello, I'm sure you all have been through this at one time?
Is there an easy way to peel shims off without messing up the whole pack?

Thanks a bunch...

Re: New bearing shim packs

Slightly heat them with a propane / map gas torch. They will fall apart. Don't overheat and melt them

I use a razor blade, seems to work ok.

Re: Bent rear axle -'25 T Coupe

Looks like I may have a bent axle shaft. The rear wheel has a 5/8" wobble underway. I tried switching wheels from the other side and the runout persists. My question is. Has anyone ever straightened an axle without removing the rear end and changing it? Like removing the wheel and prying the end of the shaft while checking runout with a dial indicater. May not be Kosher but very curious.

Looks like heat is the answer. Peeling one at a time!
Thanks...
