Loud Motor Knock

As I wrote a few threads ago: On a somewhat short local ride I developed a loud engine knock and I was asking the Barn folks, if anyone knew where, or who, does reliable Ford Model A engine work, close to my homestead - Spartanburg, SC. A couple of active Barn folks suggested Dreamworks (James Rogers)- Asheville, NC.
Just want to say - James is one knowledgeable “A” and “T” motor person. He diagnosed my engine problem. A main bearing(s)? making the motor knock - wow, it was real bad. He quoted a repair price, held to it and gave me a finish date. Right on all the way. I picked up my competed motor Tuesday 10/7, (James had it on his motor stand and started it up for me) Wednesday, my wife and I starting to do the reinstall. Today, Thursday, we had it purring like a kitten.

Any Model A or Model T , that needs engine work - Dreamwerks is the place to do business.

Break it in nicely and it should last a very long time.
