Cleaning Speedo #d Wheels What is the best to use when cleaning the #s on the wheels that will not affect color & or how they are in place ??..

Re: Cleaning Speedo #d Wheels Apparently nothing successfully cleans away old yellowing without messing up the numbers. I base that statement on the fact that the guys that rebuild speedos use a speedo number decal kit (cheap, from vendors) to give a like new look to them. Order two kits if you're not experienced at it, first attempt may be practice.

Re: Cleaning Speedo #d Wheels Fred,
I decided to leave my odometer wheels alone, the patina looks good! I also WON'T replace the ampmeter glass that Gregg accidentally cracked, it'll help me remember him & all the WORK he did on Vermin! Bill W. |
