Update/Solution to "pulls to the left" hard stop Some time ago I mentioned my '31 Roadster would pull to the left when trying to stop hard (hydraulic brakes). I thought it was my left rear wheel grabbing. I finally decided it was my right wheel NOT grabbing.
problem: Air in brake line on right wheel cause: hand held vacuum pump reservoier gasket pitted and not sealing properly solution: have wife push on brake pedal and bleed the old fashion way question: does any one know how to obtain a new "O" ring gasket for a "Mityvac8020" hand held pump. Re: Update/Solution to "pulls to the left" hard stop Mightyvac has parts support. Looks like you may need part 7 or 8 on http://www.mityvac.com/user_manuals/824381_revB.pdf
Still, it shouldn't be a hard thing to go into almost any fully stocked hardware or automotive store and find nearly what you want. They'll have gauges to size your O-ring - and you may have option to Buna-N or Viton (or even things more exotic) Wot a tool this Internet eh? Joe K |
Re: Update/Solution to "pulls to the left" hard stop Thanks Joe. That is just what I needed.
