floor mat

...will a 28-9 car front floor mat fit a 30-1? I have a new 28-9 one and a 30 A Roadster, thanks.

I think the determining factor is where the emergency brake is, to the right or to the front...if that lines up you should be OK.

That said I purchased the brake to right mat for my 30 coupe, which is correct but still needed to trim the mat a lot, it was too long, front to back (probably to account for where the seat is positioned) and a little wide....after trimming it up if fits great.

I also think Nabco is correct. It depends on where the emergency bake is. There therefore is a good chance it will not work.

A LOT of information about 'what fits what models' can be easily found just by looking at the descriptions of the item in one of the various Model A Parts Catalogs - Bert's, Bratton's, Snyder's, Mike's - to name just a few of the vendors who describe WHAT year vehicle the part will fit.

If you don't have these catalogs (they are FREE just for the asking), you can easily look up the part (and it's year of application) on the vendor's online catalog of Model A Ford parts.

This need not be a long drawn out search and investigation. Just have these essential reference guides stacked handily within easy reach of your 'throne' - inside your 'Christian Science Reading Room'. A quote I remember from long ago rings truer with each passing year : "Time Sitting, is Time Well Spent'. And with these 'man candy' 'Wish Books', to liesurely puruse while 'sitting', you can actually LEARN quite a lot.
