Ford colors
 

I have the Ford paint and finish guide book and am familiar with what is in it. But, as you can see from my avatar, my car is red. I see many red model A Ford cars in pictures and at shows and in talking with owners I have been told that you could special order red for a model A. What is the opinion on the Barn regarding this ? Thanks, Bill

Never found anything in Ford archive info to indicate red as an option on "A" cars, BUT yours looks great, and I would not change the color. Best regards from an old timer. Jim Langley...

I believe some or all Canadian built sport roadsters were painted red. I saw one at Oshkosh at the MARC meet in 2012. Since you are close to Canada, you might have a sport roadster. Below is a picture of the Canadian sport roadster that was at Oshkosh.

The Sport Roadster is painted Henna Red which was one of 3 custom colours for this Canadian model.
If you could see it from the rear, the whole deck [ rumble lid & body] is painted black, so red is really only on the sides & hood.
