Underground Chrome

I don't like many reality car shows. But this underground chrome is pretty cool. They are hunting cars in Argentina. Bunch of old fords at a place.

The only reality shows that are actually real are surveillance videos.

I'm sure this is pretty fake. But it's cool to see these places with these old cars sitting out. I bet with their economy the way it is. You could probably find some good deals. And ship a bunch back at one time.

Re: Underground Chrome

Twenty years ago, I was working in Mexico City. I found a '39 Lincoln Zephyr ForDor Sedan sitting on a back street, not too far from the airport. I asked about the car and could have bought it for a very good price however, getting it back into the U.S. was going to be too expensive... I don't know if that situation has changed but, if not, it is unrealistic to try to bring cars/trucks back to the U.S. unless you can buy them for next to nothing.

There is a poster on the HAMB that lives in Mexico & posts pics & story's of some of his finds. Just amazing what all he finds & buys.
