Model A jack I do not have a jack for my new Model A. I have plenty of Model T jacks. Will a Model T jack support a Model A?

Re: Model A jack I would never recommend using an original Model A/T jack to jack up your car. Your asking for trouble.

Re: Model A jack Yes the model T jack will work. The model T jack is a screw type jack that will always work The later ratchet type model A jacks will go up but sometimen not want to come back down. Some will always dissagree but I like the original jacks and keep one under the seat on my 31 tudor and roadster. Mine work.

Re: Model A jack Thanks for the info

Re: Model A jack I like the heavy duty screw jack, like the AA used. I buy them at swap meets when I can find them for $5. Be sure to check the base for flatness. Many look like the truck drove off with the jack still under it.

Re: Model A jack A lot of the model A and T jacks have bases that are no longer flat .
