Help identify 1 Attachment(s)
This auto used to be a friends, Father's car. He asked me if I could figure it out as to what kind of car it is, I can't so I'm asking all of your input. Thank in advance. Tom

Re: Help identify Gosh, I'm thinking a steam car. Either Doble or Stanley - both of which had a similar arched radiator cover and flat radiator (stanley later went to a "v" shape.)

Flipped. The headlights look like 30-31 Model A

Re: Help identify You should also try the AACA site.

Re: Help identify I go with Joe K - to me it looks like a late-model Stanley Steam Car of about 1924 vintage. A friend of mine has one - this car looks similar.

Re: Help identify Here's a 1924 Stanley Steamer from the Hemmings website. Looks pretty close to me.http://http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2013/12/10/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1924-stanley-steamer-model-750/

Re: Help identify It sure looks like the Stanley, but the hood emblem looks different to me.
|
Re: Help identify I cant think of any steamers who would put on a moto-meter... I want to say it looks like an early Moon, but the picture is not clear enough for the emblem to be read.

Re: Help identify Emblems don't mean much---Ted put a CHEV emblem on his '29 Model A RPU & a DEVIL, thumbing his NOSE, on the radumator cap!!!
