Re: Dumped the sealed beams It took me a year to find all the parts to put my original 1950's Sealed Beams BACK in my 1931 Coupe. It looks sooo much better, and illuminates so much better too !
Yes, I am a 1950's kind of a guy . . . . . |
Re: Dumped the sealed beams 1 Attachment(s)
If the car is just a driver and you like the stock look, you can get adapters that go inside the stock buckets.
|
Re: Dumped the sealed beams Yes the adapters do allow the continued use of sealed beams behind an original lense but now both lens's fluting is not functional as intended. I think use either one but not both.

Re: Dumped the sealed beams Pete, I laughed at the irony of the stock look regarding the headlights considering the car in the picture! It looks nice that way too, I just found it humorous!

Re: Dumped the sealed beams These will be in the swap meet shortly. 6 v Sealed beams and all
|
Re: Dumped the sealed beams I have used sealed beams in model A's before. they are hard on the generator but will work. An alternator is best for brighter sealed beams on the model A.
