I took it for our maiden voyage today. My 1 and 5 year old loved it (wife was at work so she hasn't ridden in it yet) my 5 year old daughter said she likes it as much as the model a.

Thanks.

So far I added a stoplight by using a 27 style brake switch and dual filament socket. And discovered that the amp meter was wired backwards. I also found that the generator cutout was sticking. So I ordered a new one of those as well. I also have a new interstate battery on the way. Since the old one is a bit weak.

Just a thought. Model T fords used a negative ground systems and Model A fords used a positive ground system. That may be why you thought the amp meter was wired backward?????

The new cutout works as it should and it seems to be running well.

I look forward to putting a lot of miles on it.
