Coil box-gloss black or satin or flat???

I am about to paint my coil box, and I need to know which shade is correct. Is it gloss, satin, or flat black. I have seen some gloss and a few satin.

You didn't say what year. If it's 1925 or before, I'd try to match the rest of the interior. If it's 26-27, match the engine.
