Truck ruxtell

I have the chance to buy a ruxtell out of a Tt truck. It's been outside for a while but is complete. Are these worth anything, maybe half the price of a car one?

I would venture to say 1/4 or less. Like with the car ones, in that condition, too many unknowns.

Ok thanks. It's in what's left of a doodlebug so likely it's had a rough life.

Check Chaffin's catalogue. I think you'll find all the necessary replacement parts if you want to rebuild it. The question will be whether you want to spend the dough.

He was referencing a TT Ruckstell - new repro parts are not available.

If you have a ton truck and a machinist workshop nearby it is likely worth fixing.

Re: Truck ruxtell

I have one that was modified and used as a winch drive. Likely it would be good for parts. Would sell it as is for $100 as long as I didn't have to hassle with getting it ready to ship. As far as a complete one vaLlue of them is likely around $300. I sold one in 2003 for $125 and onother in 2007 with an auxillary transmission for abit over $500. Rod
