What are these two holes in front of floor board

The photo shows the top of two steel bolts that go thru the chassis wood to the frame and a rough looking "kick panel retaining clip" (which will be replaced) but were the two holes at the top of the photo used for.

Screws held the wooden body blocks in place here while the body was lowered onto the chassis.

Thank you Marshall. At this time there is new chassis wood under this position. We replaced all the wood from stem to stern last summer. So, we'll put screws in place here.

Be sure that they are slot head screws and not Phillips screws! Phillips screws are a big no-no in Model A's.

Got that Marshall. We special ordered slot heads when we installed the wood kits, thanks.
