John...

I had a repop 1928.....it was ugly!
Depending on what you want or looking for....you can't beat an original!

Originals aren't that hard to come by if you look. Keep you eyes open and go to swap meets. I see 28-29 splash aprons all the time at swaps. 30 not so much and 31 hardly ever. June 1st is the Auburn swap meet a bit of a drive for you but you might find some there

I don't know the name speedway but I bought a set of the more authentic aprons from Snyder's and they sure fit better than the 1980s repro version they replaced. I still elongated some holes for easier fitting.

I only need the left side.
I do not want to spend $275.00 to have one straitened as I can get new set from rootlieb for 275.00.
I was hoping to find one better than what I have.
I have two good right sides.
Been looking for years only had this car since 1964
This car was in a wreck about 1960 so hoping not to have major frame damage

It seems that you already have an original right side. Either way you are going to be out $275.00 to get them to match.

If it were me, I would get the original one fixed, bolt it into place and me done. Brand new ones often need to be "massaged" to get them to fit, holes often need to be drilled and much time taken to get it to work and you need to do it for both sides.
