Horn My newly acquired 1931 tudor has the ahooga horn with the Ford logo on the back cover shell over the motor. Is this correct. I thought all horns were from Sparton.

Re: Horn There were five manufacturers of horns. None were made by Ford. Only some of the 1928 horns had Ford script on them. If you're concerned about "correct" for 1931, you will want a Sparton or a G.I.M., and even then there are variations that are specific to 1931. I suggest you invest in the Restoration Guides and Judging Standards book, available from MAFCA or MARC. It will answer a lot of questions for you as a new owner.

Re: Horn If you want a correct 31 Sparton I should have one restored and for sale some time in June. I could not find a decent original bell for it, so it will have the repop. I am waiting on parts for 3 of the others and will be building them all at the same time. Rod
