New Digs

For everyone who has been to my shop to pick up and to all in the future, I am moving. Previous customers will be happy to never have to drive up my driveway again :D. I found a building 2.5 miles from where I am now and has a great highway presence. The price is right and the owner is great . As soon as we get the Corvette moved, I am going to start moving in. It will take a couple of weeks to move 7 years of accumulation but I can do it.

This is a big THANK YOU to all my customers that made this possible :o.

1200. I have been in 1000 and lost lots since it is my basement. This won't have the water heater, furnace, stairwell, wood heater, washer, dryer and having to park one car inside. I am probably working in 700 or so sq feet here.

Geezzz, I didn't know what trouble moving can be . Two days steady and just touched the basics. Looks like it will take a week to move the handeled stuff and a whole day to move the lathe, bridgeport, flywheel grinder and, the broach because, they all weigh over 1200# each and cannot be moved by hand. Sure wish I had some help with big muscles and weak minds :D. Be at it again in the morning early to get as much as possible done.

Well, I finally got done with the move. Looks different from the first pictures :D . We had to wire it and install a service panel to get power. My friend is a certified electrician for a large local corp. so I got that pretty cheap. He also gave me a new 42 place load center to run the 3 phase converter into so all my machines have their own breakers. Full now.

James! I envy you! I think of what I could do with 1200 sq ft. First of all, I could bring in everything that's outside on the cement pad. Best of luck!
