The car is 29- 32 in my opinion . Looks to be in good condition .The tear the picture was taken would be before 1940 which is just a guess. Not a Ford car but maybe Dodge, Hupmobile ,Plymouth, or what Mart said!?

Oh NO, my sincerest apologies! My aunt said it was a Ford so I thought this forum was the perfect place to find out.

I hope you all don't mind if I leave the post up a bit longer to see if anyone else has some guesses on what year it is.

The car looks about 1928 and the photo of your Grand Dad in the sweater seems to be about the same time. The other photo maybe 10 years later.

I think many of us here appreciate seeing these old cars regardless of who they were manufactured by. As others have said, this is not a Ford, but I have no clue of the actual make. Some of the previous guesses would be mine as well. I was hoping to enlarge the pictures enough to see what might be on the hubcaps. Definitely looks to be late '20's styling to me. It's also apparent to me that the second picture was taken years later. Do you have any more pictures you could post?

Thank you ALL so much! I think you all would really appreciate my grandpa. He worked his whole life in a steel mill factory to put his kids through college. My mom was divorced with three kids so he would fix our cars, and when we took them to the mechanics they were in awe of his handy work. I remember a muffler he made from soup cans. AHAHAAAA

He worked hard his whole life and LOVED to fix things in his free time. An amazing man by EVERY standard ;)

He is my very best heart and soul!

That is a Ford Model T roadster, About 1924-1925

In your last posted photo it appears to be a Model T Ford roadster in the background.

John Willys built the Overland (among other vehicles) until 1926 when production ended and it was replaced by the Whippet. Mr. Will's post above led me to Willys-Knight and the grille didn't look right to me but looking around I found this-

I agree on the Willys going by the tube bumpers & stacked in the rear.
In the one photo looks like he is about to get bit.

The "other curious car" is a 1923 Ford model T or possibly 1 or 2 years earlier as it has the Low Cowl.
