That is quite impressive. A million dollar car at least...I haven't been able to get my hands on one of those super rare original cassette players yet. Maybe someday....

Looks like a Shay with a Pinto engine. (4 cyl)

Probably is an original, Shay

Re: New definition for "All Original"

I think all of us Ford Barners ought to drop a note of 'inquiry' asking specific questions that will force this crock (er, mis-informed) fellow into providing additional 'information' to help 'clarify' the 'product'. I have already done so.

Straight 8 or a V8

Re: New definition for "All Original"

I dispute all original - it has a J.C. Whitney (Huchins) horn.

That must make my three horns worth about $100 each?

Maybe I'll get $200 for the 12v version - it's twice as "original."

Re: New definition for "All Original"

Some guy in AZ tried to push a Shay off as an original Model A a couple years ago on ebay. He was savaged on line. They had to turn off the question feature when the howls got loud, but he kept insisting that the car was original when clearly it was not.

"Good Looking ford ALL ORINGAL"

Not sure what ORINGAL means. Good Looking may be wrong too. 32,500 is definitely wrong.

A very rare 8 cylinder pinto engine. ;) Whew.

Re: New definition for "All Original"

I noticed that the car is in Washington DC. Could be why the description appears to be factually challenged. People get paid to do that there.

Starting bid $32,500..... Does that make my coupe worth $50,000?

Re: New definition for "All Original"

I had to ask about the cassette player, I want to know where I can get one. A six volt cassette player. My '66 T Bird had one of the first factory installed 8 track players but it used 12 volts.

Re: New definition for "All Original"

I like the description: "Its red and pretty selling it for a guy I know like my grandfather and he had it for a long time." Sure makes me want to bid $32,500!

Considering that the ebay poster doesn't know the difference between a Shay with a Pinto engine and a real Model A Ford, no wonder all of his photos are sideways. Note his feedback score is zero. It probably really is a rare car since the last Pinto I saw only had 4 cylinders and he says this one has 8!!!

Re: New definition for "All Original"

With a serial number in the 12 million range it will have a lot of later features that the earlier cars won't have.

I asked "which piece is original?"
