Strange Vin/Engine Number

Hello everyone,
Well, I am a New member to the community & owner of a 1930 Model A Deluxe Coupe. I am looking for any information on my strange Vin/Engine number that makes no sense to me "ORE12xxxF". It was purchased in Oregon, my guess for the "ORE". Any ideas? Thanks

The engine, more than likely, was rebuilt at some point in it's life and that number for which is on it was the engine rebuilders code, thus the restamped engine.

I think thats most likely a number assigned by the Oregon DOT. Just a guess

I'm sure it's an ore DOT. I have a WA###### on my car, put there by the Washington state DOT inspectors.
