Coatings03

I have seen and inquired about using a "Zip" type Model B distributor with electronic ignition in the model a engine. made for 6 volt positive ground. How well do these distributors work?

Thanks,
Jim M.

Your results may vary,

We had one in our club and he changed back to original after never getting it to work right in his car.

Like i said your results may vary as there have been a whole lot sold and they are still selling so they all can't be bad.

what tbirdtbird said.
If the subject line was something like:
""Zip" type Model B distributor with electronic ignition"

then you might get more responses, particularly from people who are familiar with them.

At first glance, I thought this thread was gonna be about some sort of POR-15 alternative : )
