ronn,
I don't have any photos of the birds, however on a trip to Central, Alaska about 15 years ago I took out 3 grouse while passing over Eagle Summit. Got all three together with the radiator/shell/bumper. Thankfully we had a black Labrador with us and she was able to retrieve them off the side of the mountain. The next morning, she had removed them from the Model A pickup and had laid them out neatly along a creek bank. She was an avid Yellow Jacket hunter and had probably killed several hundred by that time. Luckily I had some benedryl, because she needed it badly, but she was back to killing bees within a couple of hours. This photo was taken that day, just after the kill. Darryl in Fairbanks |

Re: Model A's and hunting.... When I read the title I thought it was gonna be that you found an abandoned A while you were out hunting. Heard that story more than a couple times.

Re: Model A's and hunting.... PS-was expecting you to show a shot of fresh fish strung up on that nice paint job!
The gator reminds me of the old handbags with the gaters head still attached to the bag-that is one beast! amazed the springs on the A didn't list heavily to the right! Almost looks like an early brass horn for honking! great shots-thx! keep em coming...................... |
Re: Model A's and hunting.... darryl-sounds like your dog needs a beekeepers hat.............
question is, how much honey does he take in annually......? |
Re: Model A's and hunting.... Wish I had a picture, but my uncle used a model a for hunting and he put the deer inside. (no seats).

just found this one. Seems the front fender is the best place to put anything bigger than a rabbit.
