Steering box bolts

Simple question here but I can't seem to remember if the nut is on the inside or outside of the frame on a 29 roadster steering box. Thanks in advance..

Pretty sure mine are on the outside. '31.

Be aware the repop steering column to frame bolts from !! They are junk

The castle nuts and cotters are on the outside. You want no play/wallowed out holes thru the frame. The steering box needs to be rock solid. So no soft nuts or bolts either.
