Original Trunk

I believe this is an original style trunk. It fits the painted folding trunk rack (16X33). The trunks for the chrome racks are a different size. Does any one know where to find either a original or a reproduction?

Re: Original Trunk

My original was pretty tired, so I had a duplicate made (thirty years ago) by a company that made custom-made car trunks.

I believe that you do have a nice original trunk, there. You can see a picture of it in the MAFC's "Judging Standards". It is the one, authorized by The Ford Motor Company.
I was lucky enough to find one, years ago.

Re: Original Trunk

Try LeBaron-Bonney. Once I was there I saw them building the trunks by hand. I would imagine their trunks were to fit the Ford rack you speak of.
