model A rear tailpan fillers, part number? name?

hello, im looking for these little flat steel "welting" strips that were in between my rear pan and the rear quarters below the trunk. the bolts for the pan went through them into the quarters. mine were lost at some point, and im not even sure if they were stock? did they have them, because i cant seem to find them anywhere! im thinking the fender welting is going to look pretty silly there. or is this one of those items im only going to find at a swap meet?

Well,...I'm not sure,...lets try this.
What year and body style?
Can you post a photo of the area or find that area in another post, to help us help you?
Try the "search" at the top of the main page,...for your body style.
Were here, just a little confused on the description.

The "T" strips go from the bottom of the rear panel right up to the belt rail( at least on my 28). The ones sold seem to be aluminum and will expand at a faster rate then the surrounding steel. This may play havoc with the final paint. You state your are only ten inches long?
Try and find some original full length pieces.

i put the body back together, and it doesnt look like they were supposed to be there anyway. because of the way the body molding was to make that seem look like the edge of the beltline of the rear 1/4. i think it just uses welting.

you are correct the 30-31 coupe`s did not have them there but they do have them on the rear section of the top
