Model A's in a Local Film Production The cars were supplied and driven by several members of Canada's Capital A's. I must have smoked 5 cigars while re taking my spoken parts.

Re: Model A's in a Local Film Production Looks interesting.
The only comment I have is all the cars that are shown in this look brand new......pretty sure back in that time period.....most of those Model A's had a lot of wear and tear on them. |

One of my cars was used in the movie "Angelheart." After they spent the entire morning reshooting one scene over and over again someone figured out that the problem with the scene was that my car was too shiny. So they asked me if I minded them making it duller. They sprayed it with "Hollywood Dirt." |
Re: Model A's in a Local Film Production There you go....that would do it!

Re: Model A's in a Local Film Production Looks like some good Model A shots in there.
I thought perhaps it was a story involving a soldier in the Canadian Army in WWI but noticed an American doughboy wearing the shoulder insignia of the 2nd Infantry Division, when he is knocked down by that shell burst. Not that it makes any difference. Looks like a good flick! |
Re: Model A's in a Local Film Production When I lived in SoCal my cars were in several movies. Once I showed up with my deluxe delivery in super clean condition only to watch the film crew spray it with dirty water from a rose sprayer. I had a great time anyway. If you're ever asked to have your car in a movie, say yes, but stay with it and bring appropriate clothes so you may be able to do your own driving.
