Windshield hinge help please

1931 CCPU, repro hinge from Snyder's, doesn't look to me that these 2 will go together. The hinge does go on the inside right, or am I turned wrong?

Hinge goes on the outside so the windshild frame can be removed by sliding it off without removing the hinge from the header. Rod
