Moving seat back for taller driver

Any suggestions for moving seat back in a 4 door model a 1931 , past the original space for a taller driver?

I did this in my '30 fordor. I'm not sure if the mounting is different, but this is what I did. I took out all of the original hardware, except the sliding tracks. I mean, EVERYTHING. You have to take the seat frame off the tracks to do this. When you bolt it back on, you should be able to slide it so far back the parts tray could show. I moved it back a good extra 7-8 inches. It was at the verge of exposing the tray. I then took the seat back off the sliding tracks, and spot welded the tracks so they wouldn't slide. It gave me a lot of needed leg room around the steering wheel. Before, my knees were around my ears. I'm only 5'11" but I'm all legs. The passenger also has a lot more leg room now too. The only disadvantage is that there is now less leg room in the back & the seat kind of protrudes into the rear doorway, but it's not that big of a deal.
