1930 Roadster Windshield
 

I have a windshield and a set of upper stanchions (see attached picture), the windshield is a standard 15 1/4 x 44 7/8. I can't figure out how the windshield attaches to these stanchions, the bolt holes don't seem to align. Are these the wrong stanchions? Does anyone have a picture of how these should fit together or information on what I'm missing here.

Looks like a standard windshield and deluxe stanchions the windshield is too tall

Looks like the frame cones are missing on the windshield frame.
This picture was posted awhile ago, maybe it will help.

Thanks for the pic and response.

The frame is standard 44 7/8 X 15 1/4 X 43 1/4 and the stanchion is 13 1/4 which I believe is standard for both (I'm looking at Snyder's catalog under open car windshields and it has these specifications). This would mean that the windshield would be taller then the stanchion by 2", however in Bob's picture it looks like they are both about the same height??

What also seems to be missing is the threaded hole in the windshield frame where the stud would go that the that window would pivot on. There are some smaller holes, but none big enough for the studs.

The standard and deluxe stanchions are not the same.What are those two pegs sticking out of the right side of the windshield?Are you sure you have an A windshield frame? By the time a lot of stuff winds up at flea markets it seems to turn into Model A or Model T.

I think you are ok. The cones are missing on the frame around the studs. The windshield extends slightly below the chrome post down in to the lower post area.
