Pick up bed sills

Hi, I guess I'll make my own bed supports. Is this a good idea? Does anyone know where I can find the specs. For this endeavor? Thanks

Ditto, the ones sold are overpriced for what they are.

Re: Pick up bed sills

I have a couple sketches someone sent me some time ago. They have most or all the dimensions of the two sill pieces of wood (left and right). If you send me your email address, I can attach them to an email and send them to you. The sketches say for 30/31, but all model A narrow beds use the same sill wood pieces. My email address is: [email protected]

Re: Pick up bed sills

Hi fellows,
I´m writing from South Argentina – Patagonia!!!
I´m in a restoration process of my 1931 Ford pickup and I have a few problems with the sill bed.
I have ordered the ones for narrow bed from USA, but they are so different with my box and frame.
Can I obtain the drawing and / or any help regarding dimensions and shape of this wooden pieces?
Thanks in advance and best regards
Eduardo
