intro and question
 

hi there guys/gals. my names Joe and im in SoCal. currently building a 1930 Ford Model A 5 window. have done a few other cars and trucks and motorcycles. Always help my old man with his T's.

so here is my question......i need a body part..sort of. The rear firewall/ metal piece that separates the cab(behind the seat) and the trunk . Can seem to find them anywhere. a lot of that is due to i don't know the official name of that piece.....Help..and if its a dumb question, after you laugh/ point please point me in the direction and kick me as i walk away.

Welcome to FB! I think the piece you are looking for is actually more of a cardboard than metal. At least the ones I have seen are. Where are you in SoCal?

Have you tried 'The Swap Meet' ? I can't be of help, I don't what that panel is called either.

I went through Bratton's catalog and couldn't find it. If this panel is cardboard, you may want to give LeBaron-Bonney a call and ask them.800-221-5408. They close for the weekend in 10 minutes.

Try Bert's in Denver. They have a lot of used parts and would know what you mean.
