oil stick
 

my oil dipstick is all metal and has no bushing or anything around it where it goes into the motor Is this I have some oil getting on my motor,block from somewhere I though maybe that was the case

Try temporarily plugging the pipe to see if that cures it. Most do have a type of cap/cover where the stick & tube meet, so you know how far to insert the stick, but most aren't sealed.
