Aries Muffler ;

Gentlemen ;

Snyders catalogue shows a muffler (A-5230-OR) $200. Is this an Aries muffler ? Can you buy a muffler direct from Aries ? Appreciate your responses .

Brattons has an Aries Muffler in steel and stainless steel. I just ordered the former Friday.

Gentlemen ;
Thanks for the response . I looked at Aries site and see they sell a tail pipe designed by Ford for station wagons . Anyone tried this tail pipe on a 4 door sedan . I have a 31 s/w with ac and would like to get the exhaust gases to exit the tail pipe passed my ac condenser ( not before as current set up ) although the location of the end of the tail pipe looks like it might be in the same location as my condenser is. I am considering getting the Aries muffler and tail pipe extension . I will call Aries tomorrow and get some information .

I ordered direct and the shipping was Fedex and reasonable but I'm on the west coast.

If you insist on extending the tail pipe, have a local shop do it.

Hey guys, if you want an Aries muffler for a reasonable price contact them and ask about scratch and dents. I bought one for $100 years ago and I couldn't even see what was damaged on it.

I won the ebay bid on a scratch & dent stainless Aries muffler several years ago. Aries was nice enough to call or email me and say 2 mufflers would fit in the same box and I could save shipping buy buying a second one at the same time. So now I have a stainless Aries for two of my Model A's. There is a small dent in each, but not a big deal for what I saved.:)

The Aries plain steel mufflers are SO quiet! Very nice. The stainless ones seem to have a slight "ringing" to them that the plain steel ones do not. You guys that cannot hear anything above 5 kc. probably would never notice.
