Shock arms...

Since Area 23 (Shocks and Shackels) has not yet been revised, but hopefully will be soon, I need to know just which style of shock arms I need for my February/March 1929 Tudor Sedan...IF IN FACT THE DATES HAVE CHANGED.

Would I need the ones that have the "flat" surface OR do I need the ones with the "raised" ring around that area where the arm attaches to the shock itself?...AGAIN, IF IN FACT THE DATES HAVE CHANGED!

According to the current 1997 Standards (that was 16 years ago by the way), I need the one with the "ring" to be correct.

Thanks.

Re: Shock arms...

Are you referring to the extra metal/boss where the adjustment nut is?
I do not know about ''J.S'', but it is mentioned as a new feature during August in US production & in December in the Canadian S.B.'s.
My car had its original untouched shocks on in '69 & one side has the boss, the other is flat. It was produced at Ontario late Oct./early Nov.

Yes, but have been informed I need the flat surfaced ones for which I have except for one rear arm without numbers;)
