'36 seat hinge

I have a quick question on a '36 coupe and cabriolet with a fit-up front seat back. The seat back hinges which attach to the stationary backboard, is there anything "special" or "unique" about these hinges or would any garden-variety work?

Thanks

Tom

the garden variety should work. That area is covered with upholstery and the hinge can only be seen from the underside when the seat is in the raised position.

Mine are 2-1/2 inch butt hinges.I think that's the right term. They look like the hinges on a house door, but smaller.

They are called "Tee Hinges", I believe I used the 4 inch ones.

When i got my 36 the hinges looked old and stiff and no other screw holes around and they were 2 1/2 butt hinges...Take your choice i guess..
