Spindle Question
 

I'm helping my dad work on his 1928 Model A coupe.
The kingpins were worn and had alot of play so we ordered the kit with new pins and bushings. Took the spindles to local machine shop and when they pressed out the bushing, the new ones are too small outside diameter and slide through the holes. Anyone fix this before? Oversized bushings or do you have to buy new spindles

Contact your supplier and explain the problem. You got the wrong bushings. The bushings should be pressed in and reamed so the kingpins fit tightly, but still turn.
