Large or Heavy Duty Oil filter '51 M1

Anyone know where I can get the filter? Or what the part number to reference it by would be?
Or what the heck to search for? Large, Heavy Duty, truck .... not finding it.

If you can't tell by the picture, it's about twice the height of the filter on my other 8BA/8RT's.

Thanks!

I have the same filter on my 50 Merc M68 and it takes a "Wix 51503 ". It also comes with the correct gasket.

Thanks Al, that's exactly what I needed.

Do you happen to know what the story with these are? Is it a Ford part or aftermarket? Just something they did up there in Canada?

All Canadian Ford and Merc trucks had these long filters from '48 to '54. The cartridge was the same as the ones on the Jimmy diesels that powered a lot of drilling rigs back in the day, an added perk if you happened to be the motorman. ..B.
