Quick Help Needed On Brakes Which way does the adjusting shaft face, longer, pointed end toward the outside or inside of car? Can't find a definitive picture anywhere. Thanks.

Re: Quick Help Needed On Brakes Think about it, it must match up to the slant of the adjuster. BTW, have you mic-ed each of the shafts to verify they are all the same exact length.

Re: Quick Help Needed On Brakes I'd recommend a good repair manual, like Les Andrews, as there is quite a bit to good working mechanical brakes. They are fussy critters, everything needs to be right.
