question for '42-'48 woodie & sedan delivery folks.

anyone know how to tell the difference between RR fenders? possibly the woodies have more curve [bulge] to them? thanks.

I would think the flange where they bolt to the body would be different, I know it is on a 40. Where is the gas tank filler on a 42-48 SD? If not in the left rear fender that would be another difference. I know in 40 and 41 the gas filler is out the side of the SD body, not sure about 42-48.

Woody fender has a much wider flat bolt on edge,(do to bolting up to the flat surface of the wood body) Sedan Delivery has an angled bolt on edge or "broke" edge roughly an 1 1/2" wide. Sedan Delivery has the tank located behind the drivers seat, filler neck comes out the quarter panel. Woody and Sportsman has a fuel fill door in the similar location as regular passenger car although the door is unique to Woody and Sportsman. Sportsman and Delivery fenders are the same stampings except for the fuel door in the left fender is unique to Sportsman. NOS
