Dyna-Beads for Tire Balancing Can anyone help me? I thought I had read about them on this site and I tried the SEARCH method but could not find anything about balancing Model A tires with Dyna-Beads.
Does anyone out there have any experience with Dyna-Beads in balancing Model A wheels? Thanks. Bill Lee/Virginia Peninsula |

Re: Dyna-Beads for Tire Balancing I only drive my A's up to maximum 45 mph but I have never needed beads that I am aware of. Is it only at speeds over 50 that the need would show up. All my cars have new tires installed when I bring them home. Could that be the reason ? Equal rubber all the way around due to no wear .

Re: Dyna-Beads for Tire Balancing Go to your nearest truck tire store, I mean a store that handles tires for eighteen wheelers. They balance tires using a process called "sanding", which is the same as dyna-beads. My local store in Elgin, Illinois did all five of my A's tires for less than the cost of buying beads from a supplier.
And they work like a charm. |
