Whos going to IOLA 2018?

I plan to go again to roam around towing my cart (boulder) functioning on nothing but beer and fried cheese curds lol - maybe no hail storm this year! One can only hope haha. FYI bring a pocket full of ziplock bags to waterproof your car keys, wallet, and cell phone incase you do get drenched and useful for those oddball small parts/screws you find.

PM me with whatever parts your looking for as I may have it and we can meet there!

I'm in southern WI and am thinking about going Saturday but it may be a "game day decision" :). I don't have any reason to go except to wander around looking at stuff which I guess is what makes it fun. Honestly I haven't been up there in probably 20 years. Is there much Model A and older type stuff? Or is it mostly 60's and 70's cars and parts?
Anyway, have fun!
For anyone not familiar with the Iola show (Iola is a town in north-central Wisconsin), here's the website. https://iolaoldcarshow.com/

Re: Whos going to IOLA 2018?

Johns30,
I have gone to Iola for the past ten or so years. Last year there was a terrible wind and hail storm late Friday afternoon- not Iola's fault of course. However, the last 2 years or so, finding decent model A parts has been slim to almost none. It seems to me that now there are mostly later auto parts and a lot of non-auto related junky stuff. I guess it makes since, as model A's are about 90 years old. In addition, there were a lot of empty spots the last couple of years. I am passing this year for the above reasons. Since I am not going, there will probably be more A parts this year.
