36 coupe trunk seal help
 

i have a 36 coupe with a trunk lid, car came with a new trunk seal kit for a rumble seat. every catalog i look at shows 2 different kits. anyone know the difference and can i use my rumble seal kit on my trunk lid, its the same lid, just hinges are different

The lid is the same, but the inner drain gutter does not go along the bottom and part of each side, so there is no seal. If the upper and lower seal for the rumble seat lid is long enough you can use it with the trunk, otherwise you need a new kit or more seal material.
