Evapo-rust gel

Has anyone tried it? How does it work?

I have used it numerous times trying to clean the water side of an A engine in place. Difficult to tell if it made much difference. I think others have had more positive outcomes.

Was a long time ago, looked at the gel on line, read reviews. I think I saw where the stuff is so thick it can be difficult to work with. You can check the reviews, see what you find.

In the past I have used the Citrus based gel from Resteco. When I called to order it that have discontinued it.
For the past couple of years I have been immersing parts in Rust911 liquid. It works wonderful. I even used it to clean my cooling system. But as a water consistency liquid it isn't good for body parts. So I need a gel. Rust 911 doesn't have one so Evapo-rust is my only choice. I'll let ya know how it works out.
Here is my rusty project.

I would get the sandblaster out and go to work.
Years ago I tried Naval Jelly, and had no luck with it.

As Tom W stated, sandblaster will do great things for that project. Keep air pressure low and keep moving. The roughened surface will hold the primer sealer really well too.
