Model AA Truck Drum Specs

Anyone have any idea what the original and max specs are on the AA truck front and rear drums. I have a few decent pairs that I want to just clean up on my brake lathe today. Any help would be excellent!

Re: Model AA Truck Drum Specs

When new the drums were 14". I have never seen a max spec but most drum now
are scrap at .060 maybe .080. Ford frowned upon turning the steel drums.

Re: Model AA Truck Drum Specs

well problem is find the smallest ID you can that have good studs and tapers etc as they arent being reproduced and run them. Even marginal AA brakes will stop better than perfect spaced model A brakes. AA has a crusing speed of 35-40 and especially unloaded the AA should put your face in the windshield. Your going to have tire grip to road problems before the AA brakes have issues i think.
