Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash Hole above speedo cluster is probably for the hi-low beam indicator.
Don't know about other holes. |

two above the center emblem are just extra holes some one drilled for ????

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash Perhaps one of those rubber bladed defroster fans. Pop had one on our '53. He got it at the Pep Boys.

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash Maybe add a vintage compass that would cover the extra holes.

The other two holes are not factory. Too bad someone didn't do their homework before painting the dash. |
Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash Get a couple of the right size plastic "Christmas Tree Plugs" from the local auto parts store. Paint them the right color and no one will notice.

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash Thanks guys

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash I may try and find a signal light viewer to mount in the center holes.

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash Look for one of those little defroster fans made by Trico, One would look cool on the dash and have a purpose.

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash I like the idea of a period-correct compass. My day always installed them in his new Oldsmobiles when he was a traveling salesman on the '40's and '50's. I bought a new Stratus coupe in 2001 that also came with a compass. I didn't realize how much I used it until I sold the car and really missed having it.

Re: Help me identify these holes in my dash In our work a day we had to have the fan there to see, without wiping the inside windshield.
