36 trunk back convertible sedan
 

Did Ford install any rubber between the bumper bracket and car body on the convertible sedan with a trunk. It appears there should be something to avoid painted surface to painted surface. I have checked with vendors and they do not sell anything, one told me there never was one from the factory. Anyone that restored a trunk back tell me what you used if anything or anyone that can offer info on my question, I would appreciate it. Thank you very much.
