Rear axle bolt question

Are the four bolts that hold the brake backing plates to the rear axle have some sort of weird head size? Mine don't appear to be worn, but they seem like they would need a 23/32 wrench.

Ford used several odd-sized nuts on his cars, connecting rod nuts for one.

IIRC the heads are typically 3/4", the nuts are smaller, maybe 9/16".

the bolt heads are 3/4" a six point socket sometimes works the best. and the nuts are 5/8"

All I have seen are a 3/4" hex. However if they are loaded up with paint it is difficult to get a wrench on them.
