Long Island meet Is it this weekend??
If so, I feel for the trio of cars I passed on Rte 15 south in Berlin, CT this morning. All three off the highway, lead car with the hood up. On my way back from doing an errand for work they had migrated farther south to Meriden, CT about 5 miles and again all 3 pulled over (in a bad spot). Hopefully they got the problem(s) resolved. No way could I have stopped to offer help, sorry. Were They (you) Barners?? :(:( Paul in CT |
Re: Long Island meet Yes the New England meet is this weekend on Long Island. I was there earlier and saw some nice cars. Will try to take some photos tomorrow if the weather holds out. No fun driving a phaeton with the top down in the rain!
Hope the people you saw made it. |
Re: Long Island meet All that were registered for the meet made it to Long Island.

Re: Long Island meet Thanks for the follow up.
Hopefully some pictures will be posted. Paul |
Re: Long Island meet FACT: There are always more registrations than cars....

Re: Long Island meet I was talking to some of the Long Island Club members and they said there are 160+ "A's" here is weekend. Great meet so far. The rain held off until about 4:00, when most of the cars were back at the hotel.

Re: Long Island meet Mike,
Thanks for sharing the photos. I also attended; it was a great meet, and I enjoyed looking-over all of the 160+ Model A's, and chatting with various owners. I always learn new things by talking to owners that are more seasoned than me. BTW - your Tudor looks great. The Ford Model A Club of Long Island did a fantastic job of organizing and conducting the event! They were even able to control the weather and were able to delay the rain until after the tour ended. I look forward to next year's meet in Mystic, CT, and in the Boston area in 2016. |

Re: Long Island meet This great video of the New England Meet Cars at the lunch break area was on YouTube, posted by DAVID41777 whose Identity I do not yet know to give him credit, but though he says that just somewhat more than half the cars are apparently there, a later shot might even be more interesting.
THANK YOU DAVID ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7wt...are_video_user |
