Hey Chris,
What brakes are you using - If you haven't purchased anything yet, contact Richard (Early V8 Garage) who posts here. Great resource!

Also, whose dropped axle are you using? Watch for interference issues. 'Lil Red looks like she has a dropped axle but just weak springs. Front spring nearly flat across axle but seems to ride well.

I already purchased Richard's kit to do hydrallic brakes. I already have the axle in, everything works well. My Brother dropped the axle for me.

My 1950 F1. I've been a fan of Sheridan Blue Fords since the 1950's. Hauls parts, lumber, guest beds, Christmas trees., bricks, etc. Don't ya just enjoy being on the road in these old pickups?

Let's start with Bullet; built from 12 cars and 14 trucks. Drove it from 2003 until sold it last year. Then the black 40 pkp; another flathead, which now lives in MS. Drove it, too, for a couple years. I've had shop truckS(two or more!) for the last 5 or 6 years. Max driveable at same time was 3 or 4... a man has got to have BACKUPS! This one is still in service. Ford in a Ford but a little later Ford than preferred. Best dang 4 inch chop I've seen to have not cut the top and lengthened it. Still don't know how whoever did it did it!
